Artifact 1: SWOT Analysis from HHPS 525 Sport PR & Marketing
According to the course catalog this course is meant to, “investigate revenue source available to sport organizations and sport-marketing plans utilizing the concepts of product, price, promotion, sales, and advertising”. This assignment was a SWOT analysis of Northside ISD as a means to identify what the district is doing well and what they need to improve on. Since this is the district I work for and would hope to advance in, this is a great way to help prepare for future interviews and potentially for needs if and when I am able to work for this district athletics office.
Artifact 2: Sponsorship Analysis from HHPS 525 Sport PR & Marketing
According to the course catalog this course is meant to, “investigate revenue source available to sport organizations and sport-marketing plans utilizing the concepts of product, price, promotion, sales, and advertising”. This assignment was meant to help identify sponsorship opportunities given the existing sponsorships related to specific entities as well as how sponsorship activations look like for different companies. This is important because with most larger sport organizations, sponsorships are important revenue plans, so helping identify the potential relationship with companies that would work well with your organizational goals is paramount. This presentation originally included a video aspect, however, the slides contain the same information and is more accessible for this format.
