Education

• I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX.

• I currently reside in San Antonio and coach golf at Warren High School in Northside ISD.

• I attended The University of Texas-San Antonio earning both a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations (2000).

• I completed a Post-Bac Secondary Teaching Certificate at The University of Texas – San Antonio (2003).

• Earned a Master of Arts in Communication Studies with a focus on Interpersonal Communication and Sport Communication at The University of Texas – San Antonio (2008).

• Earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Communication Studies at The University of Oklahoma focusing on Interpersonal Communication and Sport Communication (2012).

• Completed a certificate in Health and Risk Communication at the Harvard School of Public Health (2013).

• Pursuing a Master of Science in Health, Kinesiology, and Sports Studies at East Texas A&M University with concentrations in Athletic Administration and International Sport Management (2023 - Present).

Coaching

• Coached basketball, volleyball, golf, and track and field at Mark Twain Middle School
  (2004 - 2008).

• Coached AAU for Edison High School at the varsity and junior varsity level (2004 - 2009).

• Coaching golf at Warren High School at the varsity, junior varsity, and developmental level (2022 – Present).

• Future goals are to work and promote within a school district’s athletic offices with the potential to move into intercollegiate athletics if possible.
